     Arthur Wellesley Sandford was the son of Rev. Canon William Sandford.1 He married Mary Toulmin, daughter of Henry Joseph Toulmin and Emma Louisa Wroughton, on 22 February 1902 at All Saints', Branksome, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England.2 He died on 12 May 1939.1
     Arthur Wellesley Sandford graduated with a Master of Surgery (M.Ch.).1 He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).1
