     William Grierson was born circa 1740.1 He was the son of John Grierson and Elizabeth Anne Higgins.1 He married Abigail Higgins.1 He died on 19 January 1793 at County Meath, Ireland.1 He was buried at Laracor Parish Church, Laracor, County Meath, Ireland.1

     Abigail Higgins lived at Higginsbrook, County Meath, Ireland.1 Her married name became Grierson.1
