Laura Susan Prestage is the daughter of Franklin Prestage.2 She married, firstly, Charles Stewart Murray, son of Brig.-Gen. Alexander Henry Murray and Martha Frances Vincent Davenport, in January 1892.1 She married, secondly, Maj.-Gen. Charles Edmund Layard on 31 July 1914.1
