     Samuel Maxwell Alexander was born in 1834.1 He was the son of John Alexander and Margaret Maxwell.1 He married Henrietta Constance Heygate, daughter of Sir Frederick William Heygate, 2nd Bt., on 22 April 1884, without issue.1 He died on 10 June 1886.1
     Samuel Maxwell Alexander held the office of High Sheriff of County Derry in 1858.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Roe Park, County Derry, Ireland.1
