     Lesley Alexander held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.). He lived at Foyle Park, County Derry, Ireland.1

     Amelia Maria Bates was the daughter of Colonel unknown Bates.1 She married Lesley Alexander, son of Lesley Alexander and Anna Simpson, in 1835, without issue.1
     From 1835, her married name became Alexander.1
