William Boyd1

     William Boyd married Mary Alexander, daughter of Reverend Robert Alexander and Dorothea McClintock, on 17 September 1845, they were parents.2 He died on 19 January 1877.2
     He was given the name of William Keown at birth.2,1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Down.2 In 1873 his name was legally changed to William Boyd under the will of his grand-uncle, Major David Hamilton Boyd, of Glastry.1

     Matilda Alexander was born on 13 August 1822.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Robert Alexander and Dorothea McClintock.1 She married Maximilian Hammond Dalison, son of Maximillian Dudley Digges Dalison and Anna Maria Shaw, on 10 July 1845.1 She died on 15 April 1903 at age 80.1
     From 10 July 1845, her married name became Dalison.1

     Maximilian Dudley Digges Dalison was born in 1852.1 He was the son of Maximilian Hammond Dalison and Matilda Alexander.1 He married Charlotte Grace Peirse in 1874.1 He died in 1885 at Hasheen, killed in action.1

     Very Rev. Andrew Ferguson Smyly was the son of John George Smyly and Eliza Ferguson.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Alexander, daughter of Reverend Robert Alexander and Dorothea McClintock, on 10 January 1856.1 He died in 1897.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Dean of Derry.1
