     James Laurence Rogerson Cotter was born on 26 January 1836.1 He was the son of George Sackville Cotter and Jane Crofts.2 He married Hannah Lount, daughter of George Lount, on 24 June 1857.1 He died on 3 October 1928 at age 92.1
