     Margaret Montgomerie is the daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 1st Lord Montgomerie and Margaret Boyd.1 She married Alexander Home, 1st Lord Home, son of Sir Alexander Home of Home and Dunglas and Janet Hay, before 14 July 1467.2
     From before 14 July 1467, her married name became Home.1
