Sir George Seton of Garleton, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir John Seton of Garleton, 1st Bt. and Christian Home.1 He married Barbara Wauchope, daughter of Andrew Wauchope and Margaret Gilmour, before 1685.1 He and Barbara Wauchope were divorced in 1705.1 He died between June 1718 and May 1720.1
He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Seton, of Garleton, co. Haddington [N.S., 1664] in February 1686.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct (as his son had been attainted).1
