     Harold James Andrews was born on 25 May 1897.1 He was the son of Arthur Macdonald Andrews and Sarah Black.1 He married Mabel Wright in 1918.1 He died on 10 June 1951 at age 54.1
     Harold James Andrews was educated at Bedford College.1 He fought in the First World War, with the Royal Naval Air Force (R.N.A.F.). He later joined the Royal Flying Corp (R.F.C.).1 He was sent to Spain to serve as an Instructor for the Spanish Air Force.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Aeronautical Society (F.R.Ae.S.).1 He was returned to plan the Liverpool Airport in 1933.1 He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Air Force (R.A.F.) on special duties in Portugal and the Azores.1 He was returned to Liverpool to plan another airport.1
