     William Minchin was the son of Charles Minchin and Frances Judkin.1,2 He and Dorothy Grove obtained a marriage license on 21 December 1749.1 He died on 5 August 1759.2
     He was a practising Attorney of the Court of Exchequer.2 He lived at Greenhills, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1

     Sir Andrew Stuart was born on 16 June 1812.1 He was the son of Andrew Stuart and Marguerite Dumoulin.1 He married Elmire-Charlotte Aubert de Gaspé, daughter of Philippe-Joseph Aubert de Gaspé, on 8 June 1842.1 He died on 9 June 1891 at age 78 at Quebec, CanadaG.1
     He was educated at Rev. Parkins School, Chambly, Quebec, CanadaG.1 He was admitted to Bar of Lower Canada in 1834.1 He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) [Canada] in 1854.1 He held the office of Chief Justice of the Superior Court [Canada] in 1885.1 He held the office of Administrator of the Province in April 1886.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor on 9 May 1887.1
