Jane Butler was the daughter of Richard Butler.1 She married, firstly, James FitzGerald, Lord Villiers, son of John FitzGerald, 1st Earl Grandison and Frances Cary, on 10 July 1728. She married, secondly, Lucius Charles Cary, 7th Viscount Falkland, son of Lucius Henry Cary, 6th Viscount Falkland and Dorothy Molyneux, on 16 April 1734.1 She died on 20 December 1751.1
From 10 July 1728, her married name became FitzGerald. As a result of her marriage, Jane Butler was styled as Viscountess Falkland on 16 April 1734. From 16 April 1734, her married name became Cary.

Lucius Charles Cary, 7th Viscount Falkland was the son of Lucius Henry Cary, 6th Viscount Falkland and Dorothy Molyneux.1 He married, firstly, Jane Butler, daughter of Richard Butler, on 16 April 1734.2 He married, secondly, Sarah Inwen, daughter of Thomas Inwen, on 10 October 1752.2 He died on 27 February 1785.2
Lucius Charles Cary, 7th Viscount Falkland succeeded to the title of 7th Lord Carye [S., 1620] on 31 December 1730.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Viscount Falkland, of Falkland, co. Fife [S., 1620] on 31 December 1730.1 He had two other daughters.2
