Derby [Great Britain] on 3 July 1717.4 He was created 1st Viscount Stanhope of Mahon, in the island of Minorca [Great Britain] on 3 July 1717.4 He was created 1st Earl Stanhope [Great Britain] on 14 April 1718.4
