     Mary Alice Archdale was the daughter of Colonel Mervyn Henry Archdale and Mary de Bathe.1 She married Ralph William Ernest Beckett, 3rd Baron Grimthorpe on 3 September 1914, with issue.1 She died on 28 April 1962.1
     From 3 September 1914, her married name became Beckett.1
