     Lieutenant Stanley Rhodes Armitage was born on 16 December 1902.1 He was the son of Frederick Rhodes Armitage and Ellen Moorhouse.1 He died on 23 September 1943 at age 40 at near Kanburi, Thailand, killed in action while in a prisioner of war camp.1

     Lieutenant Benjamin Rhodes Armitage was born on 7 January 1907.1 He was the son of Frederick Rhodes Armitage and Ellen Moorhouse.1 He married Marjorie Smith, daughter of James Smith, on 11 May 1933.1 He died on 10 December 1941 at age 34, killed in action while aboard the HMS Prince of Wales.1
