     Lt.-Col. William Brackenbury was the son of Colonel Richard Brackenbury.1 He married Maria Atkinson, daughter of James Atkinson and Hannah Barrett, on 4 October 1820, they were the parents of four sons and four daughters.1 He died on 2 June 1844.1
     Lt.-Col. William Brackenbury lived at Usselby House, Lincolnshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 3rd Royal North Lincolnshire Militia.1 He lived at Aswardby, Lincolnshire, England.1

     Alica Atkinson was born on 7 September 1800.1 She was the daughter of James Atkinson and Hannah Barrett.1 She married David Bell, son of James Bell, in 1822, they were the parents of four sons and seven daughters.1 She died on 10 February 1879 at age 78.1
     From 1822, her married name became Bell.1

     Sarah Atkinson was born on 9 June 1805.1 She was the daughter of James Atkinson and Hannah Barrett.1 She married Samuel Alexander Bell on 5 December 1826.1 She died in 1894 at New Plymouth, New Zealand.2
     From 5 December 1826, her married name became Bell.1,3 She and Samuel Alexander Bell emigrated along with their children to New Zealand arriving on 1848.
