     Richard Aylmer was born circa 1479.1 He was the son of Bartholomew Aylmer and Margaret Chevers.1 He married Genet Tew, daughter of Alderman Thomas Tew.1 He died in 1513, (this date is probably in error since he was listed as holding office as late as 1543).1
     Richard Aylmer lived at Lyons, County Kildare, Ireland.1 He held the office of Chief Serjeant County Kildare, appointed on 1 June 1535.1 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1543.1
