     Bartholomew Newton was the son of Bryan Newton and Anne (?).1 He married Frances Budds, daughter of Peter Budds.1 He died in 1749.1
     Bartholomew Newton lived at Bushertown, County Carlow, Ireland.1

     From 15 June 1741, her married name became Budds.1

     John Newton was the son of Bartholomew Newton and Frances Budds.1 He married Elizabeth Lodge, daughter of Francis Lodge, in 1730, they had other issue in addition to Bartholomew, their eldest son.1 He died in 1748, before his father's death.1
     John Newton lived at Bushertown, County Carlow, Ireland.1 He established Benekerry, Carlow, County Carlow, Ireland, as the family residence.1
