Kathleen Prudence Eirene Bagenal was born on 28 December 1886.1 She was the daughter of Lieutenant Beauchamp Frederick Bagenal and Ethel Constance Mary Hall-Dare.1 She married, firstly, Captain William Stewart Burdett Blackett, son of Commander Archibald Campbell Stewart Blackett, on 6 April 1907, they had issue.1 She married, secondly, Brig.-Gen. William Frederick Sweny, son of Colonel George Augustus Sweny, on 25 June 1918.1 She died on 26 March 1974 at age 87.1
From 6 April 1907, her married name became Blackett.1 Her name was legally changed to Kathleen Prudence Eirene Blackett-Swiny after her second marriage, she assumed the combined surnames of her husbands.1

Captain William Stewart Burdett Blackett was the son of Commander Archibald Campbell Stewart Blackett.1 He married Kathleen Prudence Eirene Bagenal, daughter of Lieutenant Beauchamp Frederick Bagenal and Ethel Constance Mary Hall-Dare, on 6 April 1907, they had issue.1 He died from wounds received in action on 24 November 1914.1
