     Major John Grey Archdale-Porter was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.¹ He fought in the First World War, as a Major with the 9th Lancers.¹

     Enid Mary Duff-Assheton-Smith was the daughter of George William Duff-Assheton-Smith and Alice Laura Jones.^1,2 She married Major John Grey Archdale-Porter, son of John Porter Porter and Josephine Henrietta Lloyd, on 6 December 1915 in a childless marriage.¹ She died on 6 March 1959.¹
     From 6 December 1915, her married name became Archdale-Porter.¹

     Lieutenant Nicholas Henry Archdale Porter was born on 3 June 1890.¹ He was the son of John Porter Porter and Josephine Henrietta Lloyd.¹ He married Amy Gunther, daughter of Charles B. Gunther, on 5 August 1919.¹ He died on 10 August 1973 at age 83.¹
     Lieutenant Nicholas Henry Archdale Porter was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.¹ He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.¹ He fought in the First World War, as a Lieutenant with the 9th Lancers. He was severely wounded on the same day and in the same action in which his elder brother was killed.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1940.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff in 1941.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹ He lived at Belle Isle, Lisbellaw, County Fermanagh, Ireland.¹

     William Wauchope Montgomery Porter was born on 14 April.¹ He was the son of John Porter Porter and Josephine Henrietta Lloyd.¹ He died on 19 September 1910.¹
     William Wauchope Montgomery Porter was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.¹
