     William Barcroft was born on 16 October 1839.1 He was the son of John Pim Barcroft and Anna Malcomson.1 He married Sarah Barcroft, daughter of Joseph Inman Barcroft and Mary Wright, in April 1886 in a childless marriage.1 He died on 9 November 1896 at age 57, without issue.1
     William Barcroft lived at Stangmore Lodge, Dunngannon, County Tyrone, Ireland.1
