     Captain Cecil Leonard Barcroft was born on 31 August 1900.1 He was the son of Richard Cecil Barcroft and Marion Olive Mesham.1 He married Vida Geraldine Ashworth, daughter of Charles Ashworth, on 5 December 1929.1 He died on 26 May 1985 at age 84 at Clonskeagh, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2
