     Major Cecil Ronald Patrick Barrow was born on 10 August 1913.1 He is the son of Major Ronald Edmund Barrow and Cecilia Frances Woolsey-Butler.2 He married Aline Joyce Walsham, daughter of Percy Romilly Walsham, on 12 April 1939.2
     Major Cecil Ronald Patrick Barrow was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.2 He was educated at London University, London, Middlesex, England.2 He entered the military in 1935, in the service of the Royal Artillery Support Reserve.2 He was commissioned in 1937.2 He fought in the Palestine Campaign.2 He fought in the Second World War, in which he was wounded.2 He retired from the military in 1947, with the rank of Major.2 He lived at Milestown, Castlebellingham, County Louth, Ireland.1
