     Jane Frere was born on 16 March 1773.3 She was the daughter of John Frere and Jane Hookham.4,5 She married Admiral Sir John Orde, 1st Bt., son of John Orde and Anne Marr, on 3 December 1793 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.1,5 She died on 16 September 1829 at age 56.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in February 1830.5
     From 3 December 1793, her married name became Orde.

     Christopher Thomas Tower was born on 31 December 1775 at Iver, Buckinghamshire, England. He was the son of Christopher Tower and Elizabeth Baker.2 He married Harriet Proctor, daughter of Sir Thomas Beauchamp-Proctor, 2nd Bt. and Mary Palmer, on 25 June 1803.3 He died on 19 February 1867 at age 91.
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)4 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Harwich between 1832 and 1837.3 He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1840. He lived at Weald Hall, Brentwood, Essex, EnglandG.4

     Aldena A. Kingscote was born in 1835 at London, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Henry Robert Kingscote and Harriett Elizabeth Tower.2 She married Sir Archibald Hope of Craighall, 12th Bt., son of Sir John Hope of Craighall, 11th Bt. and Anne Wedderburn, on 17 July 1862.2 She died on 20 October 1908, without issue.2
     From 17 July 1862, her married name became Hope.2

     Sir John William Powlett Campbell-Orde, 3rd Bt. was born on 23 February 1827 at Geneva, SwitzerlandG.2,3 He was the son of Sir John Powlett Orde, 2nd Bt. and Eliza Woollery Campbell.2 He married, firstly, Alice Louisa Monck, daughter of Charles Atticus Monck and Laura Ridley, on 17 July 1862 at St. Michael's Church, Chester Square, London, EnglandG.2,3 He married, secondly, Louisa Charlotte Temple Frere, daughter of Robert Temple Frere and Theresa Arabella Fanny Dowell, on 20 December 1884.2 He died on 12 October 1897 at age 70 at Lochmaddy, ScotlandG.3
     He was given the name of John William Powlett Orde at birth.2 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the 42nd Highlanders.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Orde, of Morpeth, co. Northumberland [G.B., 1790] on 11 December 1878.1 On 16 January 1880 his name was legally changed to John William Powlett Campbell-Orde by Royal Licence.2
