     Lieutenant Gustavus Barton was born on 19 July 1879.1 He was the son of Colonel Baptist Johnston Barton and Isabel McClintock.1 He married Ann Farquharson Duguid, daughter of William Duguid, on 8 September 1910 in a childless marriage.1 He died on 20 January 1944 at age 64.1
     Lieutenant Gustavus Barton gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Naval Reserve.1 He was a Master Mariner.1

     Major Edward Humphrey Barton was born on 9 January 1884.1 He was the son of Colonel Baptist Johnston Barton and Isabel McClintock.1 He married Christina Letitia Aileen Johnston, daughter of Henry Maturin Johnston, on 22 February 1911.1 He died on 23 July 1951 at age 67.1
     Major Edward Humphrey Barton gained the rank of Major in the service of the 10th Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers and Donegal Artillery Militia.1 He fought in the First World War.1
