     Rosemary Aileen Barton was born on 13 September 1919.1 She was the daughter of Major Edward Humphrey Barton and Christina Letitia Aileen Johnston.1 She married William Henry Borland in May 1951 in a childless marriage.1 She died on 14 December 1972 at age 53.1

     Captain Charles Geoffrey Barton was born on 28 December 1889.2 He was the son of Colonel Baptist Johnston Barton and Isabel McClintock.1 He married Ethel Barrow Welldon, daughter of James Turner Welldon, on 27 March 1915.2 He died on 17 October 1918 at age 28, killed in action.2
     Captain Charles Geoffrey Barton was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.2 He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He fought in the First World War, as a Captain in the 5th Battalion of he Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.1 He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.1

     Ethel Barrow Welldon was the daughter of James Turner Welldon.1 She married Captain Charles Geoffrey Barton, son of Colonel Baptist Johnston Barton and Isabel McClintock, on 27 March 1915.1 She died in 1971.1
