     John Bayly was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England,1 and at South East Agricultural College, Wye, Kent, England.1 He fought in the Second World War1 in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He lived at Ballinaclough House, Nenagh1 and Debsborough Lodge, Nenagh, both in County Tipperary, Ireland.1
