     Garrett Barry was born circa 1680.2 He was the son of Thomas Barry and unknown daughter O'Cahill.1 He married, firstly, Dorinda McCarthy, daughter of Captain Teige McOwen McDonal McCarthy.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Coppinger, daughter of Luke Coppinger, in 1730.2 He died in 1760.2
