     Maj.-Gen. Thomas Staples was born in September 1824.3 He is the son of Reverend John Molesworth Staples and Anne Alexander.2 He married Grace Wolseley, daughter of Venerable William Hulbert Wolseley, on 11 June 1868.3 He died on 24 October 1886 at age 62.3
     Maj.-Gen. Thomas Staples gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Bengal Staff Corps.3

     John Bayly was born on 30 November 1830.3 He was the son of John Bayly and Catherine Yates.2 He married Mary Anne Charlotte Barrington, daughter of Daniel Barrington and Anne Williams, on 3 September 1857.1 He died on 15 November 1890 at age 59.1 He was also reported to have died on 15 November 1899.3
     John Bayly gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 1st Duke of Lancaster's Militia.3 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1874.3 He held the offices of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 and Justice of the Peace (J.P.).2 He lived at Debsborough Lodge, Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland.2
