     John Skeffington, 10th Viscount Massereene was born on 30 November 1812 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was the son of Thomas Henry Skeffington, 2nd Viscount Ferrard and Harriet Skeffington, Viscountess Massereene.2 He married Olivia Deane Grady, daughter of Henry Deane O'Grady and Dorcas Spread, on 1 August 1835.3 He died on 28 April 1863 at age 50 at Antrim Castle, County Antrim, IrelandG.1
     He was given the name of John Foster at birth.3 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.3 He succeeded as the 10th Baron of Loughneagh, co.
