     Frances Mary Sophia Becher was born in 1798 at Plymouth, Devon, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Captain William Alexander Becher and Frances Scott.1 She married Thomas Townshend on 24 November 1832 at Hampshire, EnglandG.1,2 She died in 1851.2
     From 24 November 1832, her married name became Townshend.1
