     Jonas Blackall was the son of Lieutenant Bassett Blackall and Jane (?).1 He married, firstly, Elinor Waltho, daughter of John Waltho and Catharine Croker.1 He married, secondly, Isabella Ussher, daughter of James Ussher and Jane Donellan.1 His will was probated on 2 July 1755.1
     Jonas Blackall was a practising Attorney-at-law.1 He lived at Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland.1

     From 9 January 1838, her married name became Clarke.1
