     Elizabeth Egerton was born circa 1771.1 She was the daughter of Philip Egerton and Mary Eyles-Styles.1 She married General Sir John Delves Broughton, 7th Bt., son of Rev. Sir Thomas Broughton, 6th Bt. and Mary Wicker, on 5 June 1792.1 She died on 27 January 1857 at Hoole House, Cheshire, England.1 Her will was probated in April 1857.1
     From 5 June 1792, her married name became Broughton.1

     Rev. Sir Henry Delves Broughton, 8th Bt. was born on 10 January 1777 at Broughton Hall, Broughton, Staffordshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Rev. Sir Thomas Broughton, 6th Bt. and Mary Wicker.1 He was baptised on 21 April 1777 at Eccleshall, Staffordshire, England.1 He married Mary Pigott, daughter of John Pigott, on 15 June 1807 at Cheltenham, London, England.1 He died on 3 November 1851 at age 74 at Broughton Hall, Broughton, Staffordshire, England.1 His will was probated in December 1851.1
     Rev. Sir Henry Delves Broughton, 8th Bt. was educated in January 1787 at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He matriculated at Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 29 October 1794.1 He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1801 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was the incumbant in 1803 at Broughton, Staffordshire, England.1 He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1805 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Rector between 1807 and 1829 at Cheadle, Cheshire, England.3 He was the incumbant in 1829 at Haslington, Cheshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Broughton, of Broughton, co. Sir Henry Delves Broughton, 8th Bt. and Mary Pigott.1 He married Eliza Florence Alexandrina Rosenzweig, daughter of Louis Rosenzweig, on 24 February 1857 at Registry Office, Lambeth, Surrey, England.1 He died on 26 February 1899 at age 90.1 He was buried at Eccleshall, Staffordshire, England.1 His will was probated, at £766,746 gross and £167,871 net.1
     Sir Henry Delves Broughton, 9th Bt. matriculated at Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 1 June 1825.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Baronet Broughton, of Broughton, co. Stafford [E., 1661] on 3 November 1851.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Staffordshire in 1859.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1871.1
