     Major Thomas Ranken was the son of Robert Burt Ranken.2 He married Marion Bruce, daughter of Hon. Frederick John Bruce and Katherine Fernie, in 1920.1 He died on 27 April 1950.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 8th Royal Scots.1

     Katherine Bruce was born on 24 December 1885.1 She was the daughter of Hon. Frederick John Bruce and Katherine Fernie.2,1 She married Thomas Augustus Hardcastle, son of Thomas Hardcastle, on 2 July 1918.1 She died on 23 November 1967 at age 81.1
     From 2 July 1918, her married name became Hardcastle.

Sir Alexander Douglas Campbell, son of Colonel Alan James Campbell and Mary Grace Montgomery Grove, on 30 August 1923.3 She died in February 1996 at age 91 at Devizes, Wiltshire, England.2
