     John Knox also went by the nick-name of "Diamond Knox."1 John Knox gave Isabella Knox £10,000 on her marriage, and later the famous Knox Diamonds.1 He lived at Castlerea, County Roscommon, Ireland.1

     Walter Arthur Blake was the son of Xaverius Blake and Isabella Knox.1 He married Mary Butler, daughter of James Butler, on 14 April 1792 at Gretna Green, Dumfries-shire, Scotland, with three other sons and two daughters.1 He died in 1836.1
     Walter Arthur Blake fought in the Irish Rebellion in 1798, for which he raised, equipped and maintained at his own expense a corps of Yeomen Cavalry in the King's service.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Dunmacrina, County Mayo, Ireland.1 He lived at Oranmore Castle, Oranmore, County Galway, Ireland.1

     Mary Butler was the daughter of James Butler.1 She married Walter Arthur Blake, son of Xaverius Blake and Isabella Knox, on 14 April 1792 at Gretna Green, Dumfries-shire, Scotland, with three other sons and two daughters.1 She died on 2 December 1829.1
     From 14 April 1792, her married name became Blake.1

     Walter Augustus Blake was the son of Xaverius Blake and Ellis Ussher.1 He married Frances Livesay on 11 June 1842, they also had one other daughter.1 He died in 1858, (or 1859).1
     Walter Augustus Blake lived at Dunmacrina, County Mayo, Ireland,1 and at Oranmore Castle, Oranmore, County Galway, Ireland, which he sold to pay debts in 1853.1
