     John Blake was the son of Thomas Blake and Anne Bodkin.1 He married Mary Kirwan, daughter of Patrick Kirwan, Sr., in 1751 in a childless marriage.1 John Blake's will (dated 27 February 1786) was probated on 21 February 1788, leaving his estates to his cousin John Blake.1
     John Blake lived at Mullaghmore, Tyaquin, County Galway, Ireland.1

     Mary Kirwan was the daughter of Patrick Kirwan, Sr.1 She married John Blake, son of Thomas Blake and Anne Bodkin, in 1751 in a childless marriage.1
     From 1751, her married name became Blake.1
