     John Blake was the son of Mark Blake and Joan French.1 He married Mary Bowen, daughter of Christopher Bowen, in August 1787.1 He died in 1812.1 John Blake's will (dated 27 February 1786) was probated on 21 February 1788, leaving his estates to his cousin John Blake.1
     John Blake lived at The Heath, County Mayo, Ireland.1 Healso lived at Mullaghmore, Tyaquin, County Galway, Ireland,1 at Windfield, Moylough, County Galway, Ireland,, both of which he inherited from his kinsman John Blake.1
