     John de Blennerhassett was the son of Alan de Blenerhayset.1 He married Johanna (?).1
     John de Blennerhassett held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carlisle in 13811 and 1384.1 He was appointed to the office of Commissioner in 1394.1 He and Johanna (?) were, with his father Alan de Blenerhayset, parties to a fine attesting lands at Arthuret, Etterby, Wampool, and eight other places in Cumberland in 1399 or 1400.1
