     Hector Lorenzo Christie was born on 22 August 1907.1,2 He was the son of William Lorenzo Christie and Eglantine Marie-Corinne Limoges.1 He married Lady Jean Agatha Dundas, daughter of Lawrence John Lumley Dundas, 2nd Marquess of Zetland and Cicely Archdale, on 2 September 1939.1 He died on 18 October 1969 at age 62 at Battle, Sussex, England.2
     He lived at Jervaulx Abbey, Ripon, Yorkshire, England.3 He was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Gordon Highlanders.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.1 He lived in 1952 at Down Farm, Tunworth, Basingstoke, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
