     Joseph Fitzgerald Blood was born on 15 March 1853.1 He was the son of Fitzgerald Blood and Millicent Anne Morice.1 He married Eliza Dudgeon, daughter of Henry James Dudgeon, on 20 July 1887.1 He died on 29 July 1924 at age 71.1
     Joseph Fitzgerald Blood graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He fought in the Afghan War between 1878 and 1879.1 He gained the rank of Surgeon-Major in the service of the 8th Bengal Cavalry.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).1 He was the Senior Surgeon at Birkenhead Borough Hospital, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England.1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1920.1

     Eliza Dudgeon was the daughter of Henry James Dudgeon.1 She married Joseph Fitzgerald Blood, son of Fitzgerald Blood and Millicent Anne Morice, on 20 July 1887.1 She died on 30 April 1925.1
     From 20 July 1887, her married name became Blood.1

     Brian Blood was born on 1 July 1889.1 He was the son of Joseph Fitzgerald Blood and Eliza Dudgeon.1 He married Margaret Cranmer-Kenrick, daughter of Sir George Cranmer-Kenrick, on 19 April 1923 in a childless marriage.1 He died on 12 June 1969 at age 79.1
     Brian Blood was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1911 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was employed by Duncan Fox & Company between 1914 and 1930 at Chile.1 He was employed by Kendrick & Company as a Manager between 1930 and 1945 at Valparaiso, Chile.1 He was the President of the British Chamber of Commerce between 1936 and 1941 at Chile.1 He was the Secretary of the Anglo-Chilean Society in 1947 at London, Middlesex, England.1 He lived at Adelphi, Corofin, County Clare, Ireland.1

     Commander Morice Blood was born on 30 April 1897.1 He was the son of Joseph Fitzgerald Blood and Eliza Dudgeon.1 He married Doris Mary Jenner Lavers, daughter of Percy Francis Lavers, on 15 November 1923.1
