     Hon. George Shirley was born on 23 October 1705.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Elizabeth Washington.2 He married Mary Sturt, daughter of Humphrey Sturt, on 28 December 1749.1 He died on 22 October 1787 at age 81.1
     Hon. George Shirley lived at Ettington, Warwickshire, England.1
