     Hon. George Shirley was born on 23 October 1705.1 He was the son of Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Selina Finch.2 He married Mary Sturt, daughter of Humphrey Sturt, on 28 December 1749.1 He died on 22 October 1787 at age 81.1
     Hon. George Shirley lived at Ettington, Warwickshire, England.1

     Mary Sturt was the daughter of Humphrey Sturt.2 She married Hon. George Shirley, son of Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Selina Finch, on 28 December 1749.1 She died on 22 October 1787.1
     From 28 December 1749, her married name became Shirley.

     Evelyn Philip Shirley was born on 22 January 1812.1 He was the son of Evelyn John Shirley and Eliza Stanhope.2 He married Mary Clara Elizabeth Lechmere, daughter of Sir Edmund Hungerford Lechmere, 2nd Bt., on 4 August 1842.1 He died on 19 September 1882 at age 70.1
     Evelyn Philip Shirley held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Monaghan.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Warwickshire.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1 He lived at Lough Fea, County Monaghan, Ireland.1 He lived at Ettington, Warwickshire, England.1 He had another daughter, who died unmarried.1
