     Mary Clara Shirley was the daughter of Evelyn Philip Shirley and Mary Clara Elizabeth Lechmere.2 She married Reverend William Kyle Westwood Chafy on 2 May 1872.1 She died on 16 June 1929.1

     Captain Arthur Horatio Shirley was born on 25 June 1854.3 He is the son of Reverend Arthur George Sewallis Shirley and Mary Beadon Turner.2 He married Katherine Shirley, daughter of Evelyn Philip Shirley and Mary Clara Elizabeth Lechmere, on 14 November 1899.1 He died on 30 November 1933 at age 79, without issue.3
     Captain Arthur Horatio Shirley gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.3

     Walter Devereux Shirley gained the rank of Major in the service of the Monaghan Militia.1
