     Alice Louisa Pryor was the daughter of Reverend Frederick Bell Pryor.² She married Reverend William Shirley, son of Reverend Arthur George Sewallis Shirley and Mary Beadon Turner, on 22 April 1884.¹ She died on 8 September 1929.¹
     From 22 April 1884, her married name became Shirley.

     Brigadier Sewallis Robert Shirley was born on 31 January 1885.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Shirley and Alice Louisa Pryor.² He married, firstly, Hilda Grace Young, daughter of Harry Gavin Young, on 10 March 1917.¹ He and Hilda Grace Young were divorced.¹ He married, secondly, Edna Blodwen Laking, daughter of Albert William Laking, on 31 July 1940.¹ He died on 8 November 1969 at age 84.¹
