     Martha Louise Mendham is the daughter of Samuel Mendham.1 She married Maj.-Gen. Henry Duncan Twysden, son of Rear-Admiral Henry Duncan Twysden and Mary Twysden, on 24 March 1869.1
     From 24 March 1869, her married name became Twysden.1

     Sir William Adam Duncan Twysden, 12th Bt. was born on 6 April 1897.1 He was the son of James Stevenson Twysden and Aileen Frances Mary Wilson-Todd.1 He died on 17 February 1970 at age 72.
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy. He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Twysden, of East Peckham, co. Kent [E., 1611] on 10 October 1946.
