     Walter de Carnegie of Kinnaird fought in the Battle of Brechin on 18 May 1452, with the Royalists against the Earl of Crawford.¹ His house at Kinnaird was burnedby Crawford in retaliation.¹

     Duthac de Carnegie died in 1411, killed in action.¹
     In 1401 he acquired the lands of Kinnaird, Forfarshire.¹ He fought in the Battle of Harlaw in 1411.¹
