She married John Hay McKenzie McRae, son of John McRae and Elizabeth Miller, on 31 August 1861 at Freeman's Bay, Auckland, New Zealand. She died on 26 December 1909 at age 73 at Thames, New Zealand.

Eric Claud Tucker was born on 26 October 1889. He was the son of Joseph Tucker and Sarah Anne Cheer. He died on 12 October 1917 at age 27 at Passchendale, France. He was buried at Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, Flanders, Belgium.1
