     James Carnegie was born on 8 January 1773.1 He was the son of George Carnegie and Susan Scott.1 He married Margaret Gillespie, daughter of John Gillespie, in December 1801.1 He died on 18 December 1851 at age 78.1
     James Carnegie gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Honourable East India Company Naval Service.1 He also had five daughters.1

     James Carnegie was born on 26 October 1806.1 He was the son of James Carnegie and Margaret Gillespie.1 He married Charlotte Edmonstone, daughter of Neil Benjamin Edmonstone, in 1829.1 He died on 26 March 1831 at age 24, without issue.1

     David Carnegie was born on 3 May 1813.1 He was the son of James Carnegie and Margaret Gillespie.1 He married, firstly, Julie Zeuthen, daughter of Etatsraad Zeuthen, on 16 May 1839.1 He married, secondly, Susan Mary Anne Carnegie, daughter of David Carnegie and unknown wife (?), in November 1845.1 He died on 15 February 1890 at age 76.1
     David Carnegie was a partner in the firm of his uncle, David Carnegie in 1830 at Gothenburg, Sweden.1 He purchased the Stronvar estate in 1849.1 He purchased Eastbury in 1857.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1877.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Perthshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Perthshire.1 He lived in 1889 at Stronvar, Perthshire, Scotland.1
