     William Abbott Reilly-Minchin was born on 17 October 1934.1 He was the son of Commander Henry Falkiner Reilly Reilly-Minchin and Alice Rebecca Winifred Minchin.1 He died on 24 August 1956 at age 21, killed in a road accident, unmarried.1
     William Abbott Reilly-Minchin was educated at St. Columba's College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.1

     Lt.-Col. Frederick Frank Reilly Minchin was born on 16 June 1890.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Frederick Falkiner Minchin and Marjorie Emily Abbott.1 He married Elizabeth Selby-Lowndes.1 He died on 30 August 1927 at age 37, killed in the first British attempt to cross the Atlantic from east to west.1
     Lt.-Col. Frederick Frank Reilly Minchin fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches eight times.1 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the 2nd Connaught Rangers.1 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.1 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Royal Flying Corps.1 He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.) (and bar) in 1916.1 He was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 He was with Imperial Airways. He surveyed the route to India in 1924.1 In 1926 he piloted Bristol Blood Hound on endurance tests to Egypt.1
