Isolda Caroline Vereker.² He married Ellen Alexandra Haig, daughter of Captain Alexander Price Haig of Blairhill, on 19 December 1923.¹ He died on 6 January 1956 at age 83, without issue.¹
     Brig.-Gen. Sir Standish George Gage Craufurd of Kilbirnie, 5th Bt. was commissioned, in the service of the Gordon Highlanders.¹ He fought in the Chitral Campaign in 1895.¹ He fought in the Tirah Expedition between 1897 and 1898, where he was wounded.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was wounded.¹ He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.¹ He gained the rank of officer between 1905 and 1908 in the service of the West African Frontier Force.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1913.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded three times.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1916.¹ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V between 1918 and 1928.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1919.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ayrshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Ayrshire.¹ He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.).¹ His marriage to Ellen Alexandra Haig was annulled in 1927.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1928.¹ He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Craufurd, of Kilbirney, Ayrshire [G.B., 1781] on 24 September 1939.¹

     Ellen Alexandra Haig was the daughter of Captain Alexander Price Haig of Blairhill.² She married Brig.-Gen. Sir Standish George Gage Craufurd of Kilbirnie, 5th Bt., son of Sir Charles William Frederick Craufurd, 4th Bt. and Hon. Isolda Caroline Vereker, on 19 December 1923.¹ She died on 2 January 1976.¹
     From 19 December 1923, her married name became Craufurd. Her marriage to Brig.-Gen. Sir Standish George Gage Craufurd of Kilbirnie, 5th Bt. was annulled in 1927.¹

     Captain Sir Quentin Charles Alexander Craufurd of Kilbirnie, 6th Bt. was born on 11 February 1875.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles William Frederick Craufurd, 4th Bt. and Hon. Isolda Caroline Vereker.² He married Anne Blackwell, daughter of Thomas Blackwell, on 1 October 1899.¹ He died on 8 May 1957 at age 82, without issue.¹
     Captain Sir Quentin Charles Alexander Craufurd of Kilbirnie, 6th Bt. was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.).¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He was registered as a Associate Memeber, Institution of Electrical Engineers (A.M.I.E.E.).¹ He was invested as a Fellow, Institute of Physics (F.Inst.P.).¹ He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Craufurd, of Kilbirney, Ayrshire [G.B., 1781] on 6 January 1956.¹

     Anne Blackwell was the daughter of Thomas Blackwell.² She married Captain Sir Quentin Charles Alexander Craufurd of Kilbirnie, 6th Bt., son of Sir Charles William Frederick Craufurd, 4th Bt. and Hon. Isolda Caroline Vereker, on 1 October 1899.¹ She died in 1957.¹
     From 1 October 1899, her married name became Craufurd.

     Sir Alexander John Fortescue Craufurd of Kilbirnie, 7th Bt. was born on 22 March 1876.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles William Frederick Craufurd, 4th Bt. and Hon. Isolda Caroline Vereker.² He married Alexa Campbell Little, daughter of Robert Little, on 25 September 1911.¹ He died on 10 July 1966 at age 90, without male issue.³
     Sir Alexander John Fortescue Craufurd of Kilbirnie, 7th Bt. was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter, Penryn, Cornwall, England.¹ He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Craufurd, of Kilbirney, Ayrshire [G.B., 1781] on 8 May 1957.¹
