     George Edward Darroch was born on 22 April 1846.² He was the son of Major Duncan Darroch, 4th of Gourock and Drums and Susan Parker.³ He married, firstly, Adelaide Frances Valpy, daughter of Richard Valpy, on 8 January 1873.² He married, secondly, May Catherine Beaumont, daughter of Henry Frederick Beaumont and Maria Johanna Garthorpe, on 24 February 1904.² He died on 10 October 1932 at age 86.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire in 1904.² He lived at Braidley, Canford Cliffs, Bournemouth, Dorset, England.¹ He lived at 40 Stanhope Gardens, London, England.¹ He also had a son, three elder daughters and a youngest daughter (all died unmarried) by his first wife.²

     Muriel Frances Darroch was the daughter of George Edward Darroch and Adelaide Frances Valpy.² She married Colonel Robert Quentin Craufurd, son of Henry Robert Craufurd and Alice Jane Wood, on 31 January 1931.¹ She died on 16 February 1969.¹
      From 31 January 1931, her married name became Craufurd.

     Lt.-Col. Archibald Craufurd was born on 2 August 1881.¹ He was the son of Henry Robert Craufurd and Alice Jane Wood.² He died on 11 July 1932 at age 50.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Reserve of Officers, Gordon Highlanders.¹

     Sir James Gregan Craufurd of Kilbirnie, 8th Bt. was born on 23 February 1886.¹ He was the son of Henry Robert Craufurd and Alice Jane Wood.² He married Ruth Marjorie Corder, daughter of Frederic Corder, on 11 April 1931.¹ He died on 7 April 1970 at age 84.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.¹ He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1914 entitled to practice as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire in 1930.¹ He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Craufurd, of Kilbirney, Ayrshire [G.B., 1781] on 10 July 1966.¹

     Emma Katherine Craufurd was born on 23 October 1891.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Robert Craufurd and Alice Jane Wood.² She died on 3 April 1967 at age 75, after a motor accident, unmarried.¹

     Commander Charles Quentin Gregan Craufurd was born on 2 December 1847.¹ He was the son of Robert Gregan Craufurd and Fanny Louisa Wolley.² He married Esmeralda Calligary Valsamachi, daughter of Countess unknown Valsamachi, on 1 June 1878.¹ He died on 10 March 1917 at age 69.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He was Master Attendant at Singapore.¹

     Countess unknown Valsamachi lived at Corfu, Greece.¹

     Esmeralda Calligary Valsamachi was the daughter of Countess unknown Valsamachi.¹ She married Commander Charles Quentin Gregan Craufurd, son of Robert Gregan Craufurd and Fanny Louisa Wolley, on 1 June 1878.¹ She died on 3 May 1927.¹
      From 1 June 1878, her married name became Craufurd.

     Quentin Craufurd was born on 24 April 1879.¹ He was the son of Commander Charles Quentin Gregan Craufurd and Esmeralda Calligary Valsamachi.² He died on 23 January 1934 at age 54.¹

     Robert Craufurd was born on 29 July 1880.¹ He was the son of Commander Charles Quentin Gregan Craufurd and Esmeralda Calligary Valsamachi.² He died on 1 January 1881.¹
